We LOVE our missionary!!

 Its hard to believe that Macky's mission has almost come to an end.  We have been given his release date of JUNE 29th!!!  We are so excited for him to return home, yet saddened that he has to leave such AMAZING people behind!!

 This is the Pott's family - I personally want to express my gratitude to them for being so good to my son.  He has expressed many times in his emails home just how much he loves and appreciates them.  As a mom, when you send your son (or daughter) on a mission you are constantly praying for their protection and safety.  And that people will be placed in their path that will also watch over them and make them feel loved and at home.  That is what this family has done for Macky and I thank them for that.  Hopefully one day I will get to thank them in person:)

Football State Champs!! 2014

 It seems that I am always behind when it comes to blogging but I had to get these pictures on here.  Super excited for this boy who was the QB for the Mustangs this season - No PRESSURE!! He did an amazing job and we are so happy for their victory. 

 Lexie made this poster for Macky (nickname Nickel) so he could feel a part of it all. 

Since my yelling days are over - haha   Thanks to a paralyzed vocal chord (which is a post I will save for another time) - I had been saying all season that I needed to purchase a cow bell.  Carly found one for me and on our way to the game we whipped in and bought it.  It sure came in handy and I absolutely loved having it!!  I miss not being able to yell and encourage my boy/team but this will have to do:)  After all these years of Tim being a coach this is actually my 1st pic with a championship trophy.  I know first hand the sacrifice that is made by the coaches and their families during a football season. Lots of hours are spent and there are many sleepless night!! I am super happy for my hubby and the Mustangs!!!

Happy Birthday to this GIRL!!

Once again I am super behind on my blogging.  This special girl celebrated her 11th birthday the end of October!!!  I really can't believe that she is 11 already.  Time is getting away from me.  It's hard to believe that she has been a part of our eternal family for almost 7 years.  I am thankful for the opportunity to be her mother and I know that Heavenly Father guided us to each other.  She is my little helper - she loves being an aunt - she loves to sing -  she is beautiful inside and out!!!  Happy Birthday Maryjane - WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Happy Birthday You Two!!

Here is a little birthday tribute to these two kids of mine.  Their birthdays are 2 days a part and what a blessing both of them are to our family.  It is a treat to have a daughter who grows up to be one of your best friends.  She is wise beyond her years and a example to me and I love spending time with her. Nate was about 2 1/2 when this picture was taken.  Where has all the time gone??  He had a special birthday this year - Turning 12 is a pretty big deal!!  He is super excited to receive the priesthood and  pass the sacrament in church.  When the Bishop presented him in our ward to be made a Deacon he asked Nate to bare his testimony.  I think I held my breath the entire time because I was so nervous for him.  It was beautiful and heart felt.  I was so proud of him.  I am blessed to be his mom.  He continues to teach and stretch me as a parent and I am grateful for that.  His love is unconditional and he has a very tender, forgiving heart.  There has been a couple of times where I have asked myself...."Why can't I remember his birth weight'?  And then it dawns on me....He's adopted!!!  He had my heart the first time I laid eyes on him:)   Happy Birthday Nate Dawg - We Love YOU

Dental School

I have to do a little tribute to this guy!! We have been blessed with an amazing son-in-law.  I always tell him he is my favorite!!  Nicholas was under a great amount of pressure trying to get ready to take the DAT for dental school.   He studied and studied and studied to the point that it was making him physically sick.  Well, after much studying, prayer, fasting and priesthood blessings he took it.  I went down to the Valley and surprised them with a motel room and a little get away for when he was finished.  It is like a 6 hour test and they both had been under so much pressure.  Carly was a trooper trying to keep kids quiet while he was studying or playing single parent while he was gone.  He ended up scoring a 21 which is amazing!!!  So now we just wait to see what dental school they end up at.  He has received quite a few letters from schools to set up interviews - hopefully they will know more in December!!!
